GFI MailEssentials bevat niet één, maar twee antispamengines die beheerders een out-of-the-box zéér hoge spamdetectiegraad bieden waarvoor minimale configuratie vereist is. Niet alleen beschikt het over één van de hoogste spamdetectiegraad van de branche – méér dan 98% – maar wordt het ook tegen de beste prijs op de markt geleverd.

De nieuwste versie bevat SpamRazer; een extra antispamengine die een tweede beschermlaag biedt. Deze versie is zo ontworpen dat het eenvoudig in gebruik is en doordat deze vaak geüpdate wordt, zijn aanpassingen dankzij SpamRazer niet noodzakelijk om volledig effectief te zijn bij het filteren van de nieuwste spam (zoals NDR-spam, CNN-spam, MSNBC-spam en vele andere soorten spam die regelmatig verschijnen). Door middel van spamRazer-filtering, IP-reputatiefiltering, Bayesiaanse en andere geavanceerde antispamtechnologie-modules kunnen beheerders met rust gelaten worden en ervan verzekerd zijn dat de spamdetectiegraad de hoogst mogelijke is. Bovendien heeft GFI MailEssentials een laag aantal valse meldingen.

GFI MailEssentials kan phisihingmails detecteren en blokkeren en tools voor e-mailbeheer aan uw mailserver toevoegen: disclaimers, monitoring van e-mail, internetmailrapportage, listserver, servergebaseerde automatische antwoorden en POP3-downloading.
